Our Founder

When Mel Mathisen, our founder, began in the quartz industry in the 1970s, he never imagined where God might lead him. Whether it was working for a quartz manufacturing company or starting his own, Mel has been across the country and back again. He has over 50 years in the industry and has built lasting relationships with his customers and his employees. He is an innovator and a pioneer who has accomplished much over the years. Yet you'll never hear him take credit for any of it. That's because in everything that Mel has done, he has been steadfast in his belief that God deserves all the glory for any and all of his achievements. We are blessed to have a leader who puts God first and who cares so much for his employees and his customers.
